Rules governing the use of ShelbyHost services.
By ordering, accessing or using ShelbyHost services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the applicable order details and any product-specific rules presented at checkout. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must provide accurate, current contact and billing information, protect account credentials and remain responsible for activity under your account. Orders may be reviewed for fraud, availability, technical feasibility and policy compliance. Provisioning times are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Fees are due in advance according to the selected billing cycle. Taxes, licences, control panels, domain fees, setup work, additional bandwidth and optional services may be charged separately. Unless cancelled before renewal, recurring services may renew at the then-current price. Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension or termination.
You may not use the services for unlawful activity, spam, phishing, malware, unauthorised access, denial-of-service attacks, intellectual-property infringement, abusive content, fraudulent schemes or activity that threatens other customers or the network. You are responsible for your users, applications, data and downstream customers.
Plans are subject to the resources, transfer allowances, port speeds and fair-use limits shown in the order. Shared services must not materially impair other users. We may investigate abnormal load, abuse reports or security events and take proportionate steps to protect the platform.
You are responsible for securing applications and credentials, applying application updates, maintaining independent backups, testing restores and ensuring that your content and processing comply with law. Managed support covers only the tasks included in the purchased plan or separately agreed scope.
ShelbyHost may suspend or restrict services for non-payment, abuse, security risk, legal requirement or material breach. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy; urgent protective action may be immediate. Termination does not remove amounts already due.
Any eligible availability commitment and service-credit process is governed by the Service Level Agreement. Maintenance, customer-caused incidents and stated exclusions do not count as covered downtime.
Except for express commitments in an order or SLA, services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, ShelbyHost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or third-party service failures. Aggregate liability will not exceed fees paid for the affected service during the three months preceding the event.
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. The current version will be posted here with an effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the ShelbyHost contact page or the client-area ticket system.
